Kibale is a lush tropical forest, said to have the highest density of primates in the world, The top attraction is chimpanzee trekking. This park covers 560-sq-km land it is located 35km southeast of fortpotal. Kibale national park supports The greatest primate diversity and thrilling variety of bird species.
The park is home for several forest species like Colombus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, sitatungas, civets, duikers and forest buffaloes and Uganda’s largest concentration of forest elephants. The park is nestled within the longtude band of volcanic calderas that run west of the park border from fortpotal.
